Jenny Budiman
Co-founder · The one who gets it done
Jen has always known how to read a room. After years building her career in
finance and founding her own mortgage broking firm, she developed a rare instinct for people —
and an ability to move them. She negotiates hard, builds trust fast, and has a reputation for
getting to a yes when others have already accepted no.
She is direct and confident — without edges. She has a gift for people that
no amount of strategy can manufacture — it’s simply who she is. People don’t just respect Jen;
they genuinely like her. She walks into a room and the energy shifts. She is the relationship
behind every supplier partnership, every collaboration, every door that Azyla has opened.
A mother of two girls, Jen brings the same standard to everything she touches
— her businesses, her home, her life. She has exceptional taste, an instinct for luxury, and
zero patience for anything that doesn’t measure up. She looks after herself well, and she
believes that women who hold themselves to a high standard deserve products that do the same.
Raising two girls keeps her honest. Everything she builds and every standard
she holds — it’s as much for them as it is for her. She wants them to look back one day and feel
proud of what their mother made.
Azyla’s supply chain, partnerships and commercial direction all bear her
mark. She is the reason things get built — and the reason they get built right.

Melanie Chin
Co-founder · The quiet architect
Mel has built a life that looks effortless from the outside — and is deeply
considered on the inside. An MBA, a decade in corporate, a business she co-founded, and two
children she is raising with the same intention she brings to everything else. She is the kind
of woman who makes you wonder how she does it all — and then realise she’s simply never stopped
improving and learning.
Her journey with aromatherapy began thirteen years ago, when she became a
first-time mother and refused to trust anything she hadn’t researched herself. She completed a
short course, then kept going — reading, testing, applying the science long before it was a
trend. Every detail considered. Every ingredient questioned. Nothing left to chance. Not because
it was a passion project, but because she wanted to be certain before she brought anything into
her home.
That rigour has never left her. A mother of two, she is deepening her
learning in wellness, exploring how scent, sound, breath, nutrition and movement work together
to support the whole person. She is a believer that women caring for themselves is not a luxury.
It is the foundation from which everything else is built.
She wants her children to grow up knowing that the things worth having are
always worth building carefully — and that a woman who holds her standards high is not
difficult. She is exceptional.
Azyla carries her fingerprints in every detail: the formulations, the
strategy, the intention behind each product. She built it the same way she does everything —
slowly, carefully, and without compromise.
